  • This covers the cost of meals. Guests may be registered at a lower cost to cover the cost of the pre-demo show dinner.

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, members of PIRA will meet during the day to prepare for the PIRA Advanced Demo Show at BFY3, the Third Conference on Laboratory Instruction Beyond The First Year of Physics, on the campus of Loyola University Maryland.  During the day preparation will utilize materials from Reid Mumford at Johns Hopkins' demonstration facility, along with items brought in by PIRA demonstration team members.  Lunch with BFY3 participants will be available under separate registration.   Housing will be available also under separate registration for those wanting to participate more fully in BFY3.  For more information, contact PIRA Treasurer David Sturm at sturmde(at)maine.edu
